About the Unit

The Local Planning Units (LplE) are part of the Swedish Armed Forces' local supply competence and represent FM as a client towards the support authorities Fortificationsverket (FORTV) and Försvarets Materielverk (FMV). The Local Planning Unit Mitt, which consists of about 35 employees, has a geographical area of responsibility that includes Stockholm, Gävleborg, Södermanland, Uppsala, Västmanland, Dalarna, and Gotland counties. The unit's task is to support the organizational units in the garrisons; Arboga, Haninge, Enköping, Gotland, Kungsängen, Stockholm/Solna, Uppsala, Vällinge, and Falun with Swedish Armed Forces infrastructure. LplE is responsible for garrison planning, new/reconstruction (procurement), management (maintenance), and decommissioning of land and premises. LplE also supports the headquarters with material for planning and operational assignments and the development of governing documents.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinate the unit's internal processes and support the management on-site in administrative work. Assist with report preparation, review of existing contracts, and administration around the Swedish Armed Forces' contract management system.

The unit's internal processes include, among other things, being responsible for financial follow-up, reviewing invoices, purchases, conferences, logistics, IT, and shift planning of working hours, etc.

Also, the main responsible and coordinator for the unit's vehicles, materials, logistics, and house representatives including environment, as well as for various types of orders.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in e.g. economics or personnel administration, or relevant work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience working in administrative data systems such as HR systems, or relevant systems deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Good knowledge and ability in MS Office.
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing.
• Driver's license B.

In the role of administrator, you will have many contacts both internally and externally, so it is important that you are easy to collaborate with, have good patience, and possess good multitasking ability. You are also a humble, responsible, and driven person with a good ability to work in a structured and systematic way with an understanding of changes.

Meritorious

• Documented experience of working in contract management or property management systems, e.g. SAP.
• Knowledge of property and construction processes.
• Knowledge and experience of the Swedish Armed Forces' organization and production processes.

The position is a civilian permanent employment at 100% with a 6-month probationary period.
